So, did you miss out on Munch’s ‘Scream’ at auction in NYC?
You did? Good!
Well, don’t snap that wallet shut just yet! Because the OTHER auction event of the year is happening on June 10th 2012. Yes, it’s only a month or so until the Team Cul de Sac Charity Auction and there are over a hundred pieces of original cartoon art for sale. All proceeds will fund research into finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.
With the TCDS the book NOW being printed, Chris (the brainchild of TCDS) Sparks thought we might be able to raise even more money buy selling the original art that features in the book.
You could treat yourself to an original Watterson, Pastis, Oliphant, or perhaps a Trudeau? The list of amazing artists goes on and on.
Here is a link to the Heritage Auction online listing (please note: this is being constantly updated). Official bids start on 27th May and run until it closes on 10th June 2012.
